La apraxia es un trastorno neurológico que se caracteriza por la incapacidad o dificultad para realizar movimientos voluntarios y coordinados que previamente han sido aprendidos, a pesar de que la persona comprende la orden, está dispuesta a ejecutar la acción y posee la capacidad física y sensitiva necesaria para llevarla a cabo. Existe una desconexión entre la intención de realizar una acción y la ejecución motora de la misma. La apraxia puede afectar tanto a adultos como a niños y puede presentarse de manera aislada o junto a otros trastornos neurológicos.
La ruptura del tendón de Aquiles es una lesión grave que ocurre cuando las fibras de este tendón, ubicado en la parte posterior del tobillo, se desgarran parcial o completamente. Este tendón es el más fuerte y grueso del cuerpo humano, desempeñando un papel crucial en la movilidad, ya que permite realizar acciones como caminar, correr y saltar. Su ruptura suele generar un impacto significativo en la calidad de vida del paciente, ya que limita su capacidad de desplazamiento y requiere un tratamiento especializado para su recuperación. Aunque puede ocurrir de manera repentina por una acción brusca, también puede ser el resultado de un desgaste progresivo debido a factores como la edad o condiciones médicas preexistentes.
Una lesión de tobillo es una lesión que se produce cuando te doblas, tuerces o giras el tobillo de una forma extraña. Esto puede estirar o desgarrar las bandas resistentes de tejido (ligamentos) que ayudan a mantener los huesos del tobillo unidos. Los ligamentos ayudan a estabilizar las articulaciones evitando el movimiento excesivo. El lesión de tobillo se produce cuando se fuerzan los ligamentos más allá de su amplitud normal de movimiento.
La amnesia es una enfermedad que se caracteriza por la pérdida de memoria. Este trastorno de la memoria que puede originarse distintas causas. Cuando una persona sufre este trastorno puede almacenar ni recuperar información recibida anteriormente.
