La esclerodermia es una enfermedad autoinmune (es decir, una enfermedad en que las defensas de una determinada persona se equivocan y atacan y destruyen los órganos propios) que afecta al tejido conectivo (conectivopatía). Consiste en un engrosamiento progresivo de la piel y en la afectación de varios órganos internos, sobre todo el aparato digestivo, los pulmones, el corazón y los riñones.
Una de las enfermedades habituales entre los varones y que les hace acudir a nuestro centro es el Varicocele, una dolencia en la que las venas/varices que rodean el testículo se dilatan y aumentan su grosor y fibrosidad.
El herpes zóster, también conocido como herpes a secas o "culebrilla", es un sarpullido cutáneo causado por una infección de origen viral que afecta a los nervios que se encuentran justo debajo de la piel.
La cirugía que involucra un corte (incisión) en la piel puede llevar a una infección en la herida tras la operación. La mayoría de las infecciones por heridas quirúrgicas se presentan en los primeros 30 días luego de la cirugía. Las infecciones de heridas quirúrgicas pueden estar rojas y despidiendo pus, doler o estar calientes al tacto. Usted puede tener fiebre y sentirse enfermo.
